Crab Depot prides itself on the freshest catch steamed and spiced for a speedy home delivery. Caught in USA waterways from the Chesapeake Bay, around centrally located Kent Island, marshy waters of the Patuxent River to Lake Pontchartrain and the Terrebonne basin in Louisiana, our blue crabs receive an exact sizing on the Chesapeake Bay Grading Scale. Serving sizes always depend on if you’re serving sides, and of course, your hearty appetite. So, we use custom crab coolers or a traditional half bushel or bushel box to organize your meal. Premium Male (Small, medium, with some large crabs from 5”-6.5”) This family favorite bursts with 3 to 4 dozen steamed & spiced blue crabs.
Serving Suggestion: 4-6 adults.
Signature Male (Large, extra-large crabs from 6”-7”) Jaw-dropping choice with entrée sized beauties with around 2.5 dozen steamed & spiced blue crabs. Serving Suggestion: 4-5 adults.
Premium Female Sook (Small, medium with some large crabs, measuring 5”-6.5”) Take the taste test. Many enthusiasts claim females pack sweeter meat. Steamed & spiced in the Maryland Recipe with about 3-4 dozen.
Serving Size: 4-6 adults.
Signature Female Sook Crabs (Large, extra-large, measuring 6”-7”) Our most impressive female sook catch with the potential of crab caviar or eggs. Steamed & spiced with your selected spice amount, filling a half bushel at around 2.5 dozen.
